Hi, I’m Mikalai — also known as CGnewbie.
I’m a 3D artist with over 5 years of experience, specializing in game-ready props for real-time projects.
My work includes stylized and realistic assets such as weapons (firearms and melee), armor, accessories, and environment elements.I focus on efficient workflows, clean optimization, strong visual style, and consistent communication throughout the project.
I take custom commissions one at a time to maintain quality and avoid rushing multiple projects at once.I work remotely with clients worldwide. Please note that response times may occasionally vary depending on time zones.
Here you can select between two different categories of models.The Stylized Models category includes models with a distinct, simplified cartoon style.While Realistic Models category includes more detailed, complicated models, with a style that imitates real-world objects and materials.
What kind of assets do you create?I create optimized low-poly 3D models designed for real-time game engines.
My work focuses on game-ready props, including weapons, armor, accessories, and environment elements.What files do you provide?Each asset is delivered with multiple industry-standard formats, including FBX, OBJ, MA, MB, and BLEND files,
along with the PBR texture folder containing all required maps.How does the custom work process look?I usually communicate with clients via Discord, where we discuss pricing, deadlines, and the asset concept.
Once the details are agreed upon, I start working on the asset and provide regular progress rendered images at each major stage of development.The process continues until the final stage, where I deliver rendered previews of the textured low-poly model.
After final approval, payment is completed, and the files are delivered to the client’s email.Do you create assets for Unreal Engine or Unity?Yes. Assets are created with real-time engines in mind and can be used in both Unreal Engine and Unity.Do you provide LODs?Clean low-poly meshes are always included.
LODs can be created on request.How long does a typical asset take?Timelines depend on the complexity of the asset.
Estimated deadlines are discussed prior to commencing the project.Do you work on multiple projects at the same time?No. I work on one commission at a time to maintain quality and consistent communication.Can you match a specific art style?Yes. I can adapt to existing art styles and visual references provided by the client.Do you accept revisions?Minor revisions are included during the agreed production stages.What payment methods do you accept?Payment details are discussed individually, depending on the platform and project scope.Do you offer different pricing options for custom assets?Yes. Pricing depends on whether the asset is exclusive or non-exclusive.Exclusive assets are created solely for the client and are not published or resold anywhere.
The client receives full commercial usage rights for their project.Non-exclusive assets allow me to publish the model on marketplaces after delivery.
In this case, I offer a discount of up to 40% compared to exclusive pricing.*The exact pricing option is discussed before starting the project.
